Gwango Elephant Lodge 
Our luxurious safari destination is nestled in a lush teak forest at the edge of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's most diverse wildlife reserve. It is one of the most exclusive locations on the African continent for experiencing untamed wildlife.

Here majestic elephant herds converge and an abundance of wildlife roams free. The lodge features four spacious Forest Chalets and two secluded, double-story Tree Top Villas, blending modern comfort and natural wild beauty. All guest rooms and amentities overlook pristine panoramic views of Hwange's most impressive waterholes. Our guides are ready to help you create your very own dream safari. Guests can select up to two activities daily or simply unwind in the splash pool, relax in open lounge areas and savour delicious cuisine at the Stone House, our grand private dining facility.

What's not included
Cocktails, wine & liquor. Park entry fees. Airfare, flights and any addition airport transfers. Additional hotel nights necessitated by airline schedule changes or other factors. Cost of medical immunizations (if any). Ground transfers. Optional side trips and activities not in itinerary.  All items of a personal nature. Gratuities for safari guides and camp staff.  Baggage handling, Airport departure tax, Travel insurance, Visa and Passport fees.

Rates
Priced in US dollars (USD) for Forest Chalet accommodation. All levies are included.

Reservations
Valid for travel dates year round.

Payment schedule
A 50% deposit is due to secure your reservation. The remaining balance will be due 60 days prior to arrival, but can be paid any time before that date.

Cancellation fee schedule
91-120 days prior to arrival: 20% of total original booking
61-90 days prior to arrival: 50% total original booking
60 days or fewer prior to arrival: 100% total original booking

Balances are due 60 days prior to arrival. If payment is not received by the due date, deposits are subject to forfeiture and cancellation of the booking. If canceling party finds someone to take their place, penalties may not apply.  Payments can be made by cash, bank transfer or credit card. All other costs incurred during your stay are payable in cash. Personal checks are not accepted.
