Join us in the spirit of Christmas as we gather food donations to support elderly community members and families in need. Guests, neighbours and friends are invited to bring non-perishable items or purchase vouchers for food hampers, which will be delivered ahead of Christmas. Every contribution, big or small, helps us spread warmth and dignity during the festive season. Together, we can make this Christmas brighter for those who need it most.
Drop off your gifts at Gwango Heritage Resort in Hwange or Gwango Tamarillo Estate in Burnside, Bulawayo.
Dec 24th, Secret Santa Gift Exchange
Time: 5pm to 7:30pm | One gift per person
Add a touch of surprise to your Christmas Eve! Guests and local visitors are invited to participate in our Secret Santa exchange. Bring a wrapped gift valued at US$15 or more, and share in the laughter, surprises and simple joy of giving. Bring a gift if you want to participate.
Dec 24th, Christmas Eve 3-Course Dinner

Cost: $20 per guest ($10 for kids 6-12)
Gather around the table for an elegant three-course Christmas Eve dinner, featuring locally inspired dishes and festive favorites. Guests are welcomed with a complimentary glass of eggnog before settling in for a joyful evening of holiday dining and festive music. Dec 25th, Christmas Day Buffet Brunch + Santa Surprise
Time: 11:30am -2pm | All ages
Cost: $26 per guest ($13 for kids 6-12)
Celebrate Christmas with a generous buffet brunch featuring holiday roasts, seasonal sides and sweet treats. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon with family and friends, complete with a special Santa surprise for the little ones.
Dec 31st, New Year’s Eve Party with 4-Course Dinner
Time: 8pm till midnight | Ages 21 and over
Cost: $45 per guest
Ring in 2026 in true Gwango style! Enjoy a 4-course dinner at our exclusive New Year’s Eve Party for adults 21 and over. Expect music, lots of dancing and a festive atmosphere culminating with a midnight toast as we welcome a brand-new year together.
Dec 31st, New Year’s Eve Kids’ Slumber Party

Ages: 2–15
Give the little ones their own magical New Year’s Eve celebration! Our Kids’ Slumber Party is a safe, supervised and adventure-filled night designed just for children. They’ll enjoy games, movies, kid-friendly treats, arts & crafts, storytelling, and cozy slumber-party fun - all leading up to a cheerful countdown just for them. It’s the perfect way for kids to celebrate the new year with friends, while parents enjoy their evening knowing the children are in great hands.
