A new gateway to southern Africa

Traveling to Zimbabwe has become much more seamless for those making a stop in Cape Town and other key gateway cities. We celebrated the addition of flights from Europe with Lufthansa conveniently landing directly in Victoria Falls. Now Delta also has a convenient gateway from Atlanta to Johannesburg or for those wanting to stop over for a few days in Cape Town - you can fly Atlanta to Cape Town, then continue your journey to Victoria Falls (which is the gateway to Hwange National Park).

Cape Town is usually a first stop for many travelers visiting Africa. It is known for its picturesque vineyards, Table Mountain views and its vibrant coastal charm. From there, Hwange is only a short flight away, meaning Africa’s greatest wildlife region is now within reach.

Within hours, you can move from oceanfront sunsets to a magical cruise on the Zambezi river, with hippos snorting as they wade through the waters.. to the heart pounding roar of a lion at sunset in Hwange...
